Chef Dera Oluyede & Chef Kemi Anazodo are the co-owners of Jaya Confectioneries Limited, a confectionery brand known for its creative, high-quality pastries and baked goods.
Chef Dera is a professionally trained pastry chef, having studied at the International Culinary Center (now the Institute of Culinary Education, New York). Her work reflects a strong foundation in classical pastry techniques, with a focus on refined flavour combinations, texture, and presentation.
Chef Kemi, an Italian and French–trained chef, specializes in bread, yeasted dough, and fermentation, bringing a deep understanding of the science and craftsmanship behind baking.
Together, they combine technical expertise and creativity to produce desserts that are both visually striking and thoughtfully executed, continuously pushing the boundaries of flavour and design.
