André Hueston Mack is an iconoclastic sommelier, wine educator, and entrepreneur who has hosted seminars and led panel discussions at top industry events including the Aspen Food & Wine Classic. He honed his craft at Thomas Keller's legendary "The French Laundry" before opening the three-Michelin-starred "Per Se." A sought-after voice in the wine world, Mack has partnered with brands including Amazon, Cadillac, and Microsoft, and has appeared on Anthony Bourdain's "The Taste" and NBC's "Uncorked."
He hosts Bon Appétit's "World of Wine with André Mack," the highest viewed wine show on YouTube, and "Through the Grapevine," where he tests celebrity guests' wine knowledge. In 2007, he founded Maison Noir Wines, sourcing premium fruit from Oregon's Willamette Valley, and later launched Rye & Sons, a celebration of American rye whiskey. A self-taught graphic designer and author, Mack has written "99 Bottles: A Black Sheep's Guide to Life-Changing Wines" and "Small Thyme Cooks," the world's first culinary colouring and activity book.
